Welcome to my blog! My hope is that this page will be the first of many entries logging our adventures in Southeast Asia. Three lovely companions and myself will be departing for Bangkok, Thailand starting December 30, 2010. There we will be living and working on organic, sustainable farms combined with various cultural immersion activities such as English/Thai language exchanges, improving our Thai cooking and massage skills, and exploring Buddhism.
It is a little under one week before our departure! Ample rice and noodles have been added to my everyday diet to ensure a smooth transition upon the 'land of food and smiles.' I am spending my last couple of days with family and friends before embarking to WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).
